From The Winery: 13.8% Alcohol. 60% Semillon, 19% Sauvignon Blanc, 21% Muscadelle. Columbia Valley AVA.
Impressions/Notes: Buty Winery’s Semillon Sauvignon Muscadelle wine is one of the more interesting white blends that I’ve come across. It’s also one of the few domestic blends I know of that incorporates Muscadelle. Flavorful, aromatic, and crisp, this wine exhibits lemon, lychee, pine nuts, sea air, and crushed gravel. The soft mouthfeel, nice acidity, and diverse flavors make for a versatile wine. It paired extremely well with sautéed scallops.
