Bogle Family Wine Collection (BFWC) is located in the heart of the Clarksburg AVA in California and is run by the sixth generation of Bogles, who live and work in the Sacramento Delta region. Position Summary:

The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives, assets, and tools for Bogle’s portfolio. This role partners closely with all functional areas, including our Sales, DTC, Winemaking and Operations teams to support initiatives that drive distribution, depletion growth, and brand consistency within the market.

Essential Functions:

Brand Marketing Support

  • Assist in developing and executing annual brand plans
  • Develop and maintain key selling tools including but not limited to: point-of-sale templates, accolade support, sell sheets, brand decks, chain presentations, and merchandising/wearable items
  • Partner with marketing, trade marketing, and sales teams to support execution of brand initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness
  • Represent Bogle brands in sales blitzes, surveys, consumer events and/or other market work at least 2-3 times annually
  • Responsible for brand’s social media calendar, working closely with Digital Marketing to analyze performance and recommend strategies to maximize consumer reach and engagement

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze depletion reports and scan data (Nielsen/iDig) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of focus
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly brand performance reports
  • Analyze digital ad campaigns and make recommendations to improve effectiveness and develop best practices

Product & Launch Management

  • Support new product launches by creating marketing programs and maintaining digital asset management platform collections and assets
  • Maintain SKU specs and packaging updates

Administration

  • Maintain Brand Budget Tracker and participate in monthly budget reconciliation
  • Assist in maintaining brand marketing calendars and timelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • 2-4 years of marketing experience; wine, spirits, beverage, or CPG experience preferred
  • Interest in the California wine industry and consumer beverage trends
  • Familiarity with the U.S. three-tier distribution system preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with depletion and/or scan data preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by the company’s insurance provider

Working Conditions:

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with three days onsite at our West Sacramento office and two days remote each week, subject to business needs.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit and work at a computer for up to 8 hours/day. Must be able to stand, bend, walk, sit, twist, and lift 55 pounds occasionally. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and key responsibilities.

Compensation:

$65,000 to $85,000 per year

Individual offers are made contingent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as they relate to the role. Job offers are contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment screenings, which include a standard 8-panel drug test and a comprehensive background check.
