An Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Office Clerk is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This role will plan, coordinate, and complete administrative, security, contractor management, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) support activities to ensure efficient site operations. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for contractors, visitors, and employees by managing facility access, badges, keys, compliance documentation, training records, and safety-related programs. EHS Office Clerk will provide administrative support to designated locations while maintaining accurate records, supporting regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees, contractors, and business partners.

EHS Office Clerk job responsibilities include:
- Manage contractors, visitor, temporary, and employee badge access, including check-in, badge issuance, auditing, and access control.
- Administer contractor Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), including tracking, filing, annual renewals, and record maintenance.
- Notify internal points of contact and project managers of contractor arrivals.
- Create, audit, deactivate, and maintain employee, contractor, temporary, and visitor badge access.
- Manage company key inventory, key distribution, and access audits.
- Provide administrative support for EHS programs, including maintaining training records and databases.
- Coordinate issuance of PPE to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage mail distribution
- Maintain accurate documentation, databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Acts with integrity and accountability take ownership for actions and results, both positive and those not meeting standard.
- Seeks to learn more about the business; looks for efficiencies, improvements, and new ways of operations to improve overall results. Actively participates in company goals and expectations.
- Assist with administration of company programs, including the Grainger Boot Program.
- First-aid kit inspections, and inventory management.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a computer station for extended periods of time.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- 2 years of customer service or reception experience
- Experience with Excel - Strongly desired
- Must be enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing, and positive personality
- Strong verbal/written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in a polished, professional, and friendly manner
- Must have ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and adapt and show flexibility to changing job requirements
- Must be able to organize, plan, and solve problems effectively
- Ability to work independently and productively
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Your Compensation:
$19.45 to $25.27/hr. based upon relevant experience.
