About the role

The Finance Manager, TBS Financial Controlling, Emerging Markets, is accountable for the regional statutory accounts and financial control activities for the Emerging Markets region through direct and indirect teams, driving service performance, accountability, continuous improvement and a robust control environment.

The role is based in Singapore, reporting to the Director Finance Services - Treasury Business Services, acts as a trusted partner to the regional Finance leadership, translating financial outcomes into insight while influencing stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation.

  • Lead financial reporting, balance sheet governance, and control effectiveness across the Emerging Markets region.

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of month-end, half-year, and year-end close and reporting activities.

  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls to maintain reporting integrity and compliance.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, accounting, and reporting risks while driving sustainable solutions.

  • Lead statutory reporting and support internal, external, and group audit requirements across multiple Emerging Markets entities.

  • Build trusted partnerships with Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Shared Services, and key business stakeholders.

  • Support and guide onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality, compliant finance outcomes.

  • Investigate and resolve accounting, operational, and compliance issues to ensure accurate financial records.

  • Drive process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and data quality.

  • Partner with business leaders to unlock opportunities, strengthen financial performance, and support finance transformation initiatives across the region.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification
  • 8+ years financial accounting, and statutory reporting experience.). Experience managing statutory audits and regulatory compliance. Experience within multinational organisations
  • Experience in a complex corporate or shared services environment - FMCG experience is a plus.

  • Strong financial control, governance and reporting expertise.

  • Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.

  • Experience leading offshore and/or outsourced finance teams.

  • Proactive, commercially minded and focused on continuous improvement.

  • Brings energy, credibility and a hands-on leadership style.
