An HR Coordinator role in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This role supports a broad range of HR operations and employee services, acting as a primary point of contact for HR inquiries while coordinating employee lifecycle activities, maintaining HR data integrity, supporting benefits and compliance programs, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience.

HR Coordinator job responsibilities include:
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee questions and requests on HR related matters through the HR Shared Services email inbox
• Review and track employment transactions in HR systems, including new hire processing, job changes, and terminations
• Facilitate various employee lifecycle processes including New Hire Orientations and Exit Surveys
• Provide support for workers’ compensation and unemployment programs, including claim coordination and documentation management
• Support talent acquisition activities, including posting positions, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, preparing offer documentation, and facilitating pre-employment processes
• Track and/or audit multiple processes to ensure compliance, such as I-9 documents, bonus programs, and invoice payments
• Assist with benefits administration, including answering employee questions, partnering with benefit vendors, and maintaining benefits systems.
• Proactively seek process improvement opportunities to enhance service and efficiency for the HR team
• Create templates and job aids to streamline HR processes
• Facilitate and assist with human resources processes including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, report generation, and data analysis
• Assist with various administrative tasks such as processing mail, filing, internal communications, and event scheduling.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments at management discretion
Position Requirements:
• Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years previous HR experience required, preferably in a corporate environment
• HRIS system experience required; UKG preferred
• Knowledge of human resources concepts, systems, policies, and practices required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred
• Strongly preferred: Bilingual in English/ Spanish, to include comprehension, reading, and writing in both languages
• Ability to provide excellent customer support to our employees and clients with a focus on effective resolution of inquiries and issues
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Must be a self-starter, work independently and possess the ability to tackle new tasks with little direction
• Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with ambiguity and responsive to changing priorities
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Your Compensation:
$23.50 to $30.54/hour based upon relevant experience.
