About the role

Based in Melbourne and reporting to Penfolds Head of PR & Sustainability, you'll support the delivery of global PR campaigns for Penfolds, one of the world's most iconic luxury wine brands. This role offers outstanding exposure to media, influencer, partnership and brand initiatives while working with teams across global markets.

  • Support the delivery of global PR campaigns, including yearly releases and new brand initiatives.
  • Develop written communications, media materials and campaign messaging.
  • Respond to media enquiries and assist with media outreach and pitching activities.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns and support brand events and activations.
  • Manage project timelines, reporting, purchase orders and campaign reporting and administration.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, media and global market teams.

Who we’re looking for

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised PR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment. You'll have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
  • Experience in a PR agency or in-house communications environment.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear and engaging content.
  • Exceptional organisation, project management and time management capabilities.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • A self-starter who is adaptable, solutions-focused and comfortable managing shifting priorities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline are highly regarded.
  • Exposure to wine, luxury, FMCG, consumer or lifestyle brands industries will be highly advantageous.
