The Role

This position will report to: EHS Manager

FLSA Status: Non -Exempt

Shift: Swing shift / Graveyard

Employment Category: Part - Time

Pay: $20/HR

Onsite Position

JOB STATEMENT: To conduct a vigilant and consistent surveillance of all person (s), property, and other aspects pertaining to the overall welfare of the Company by using various security systems when posted at Bronco Wine Company while maintaining excellent and efficient communication skills at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain files and written documentation and distribute as needed including incident reports, safety violations, and any other pertinent company documentation
  • Maintain traffic/access control of facility and ensure all persons entering the premises have legitimate business purposes and authorization; document on appropriate logs
  • Document violations of company policies governing employee safety, health, and behavior while on company property
  • Ensure all property belonging to the company remains with the company unless there is a signed property removal authorization naming the items to be taken out of the winery authorized by a departmental head and approved by ownership
  • Pass on oral and written instructions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain and operate company CCTV/surveillance systems
  • Maintain and operate company badge access control system (C-Cure)
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Operate a motor vehicle
  • Enforce company vehicle policy
  • Maintenance checks on company vehicles
  • Complete on-site foot patrols and vehicle patrols for off-site properties
  • After business hours, process all incoming calls
  • Assist Executives on various tasks
  • Additional duties as assigned by Upper Security Management and Company Ownership

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card
  • Must possess a valid California driver’s license without any restrictions

Knowledge, Ability, and Skills:

  • Security department procedures
  • Company policies
  • IIPP
  • Basic First Aid, CPR and AED
  • Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and written
  • Identify employees by sight
  • Interact with people in a friendly yet professional manner
  • Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Be trained in all security systems (CCURE, CCTV, and Guard1Plus)
  • Must pass 30, 60, 90 day and 6 Month Introductory Evaluations

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently sitting/walking
  • Perform tasks using standard computer equipment

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise level
  • Indoor/Outdoor climate
  • Work with others

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:

  • Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
