About the role

Fixed term opportunity until mid-March 2027

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Director Finance Services - Treasury Business Services, the Senior Manager - TBS Financial Control ANZ will lead financial reporting integrity, balance sheet governance and control effectiveness across the ANZ region while partnering with stakeholders to strengthen performance and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the evolution of our ANZ finance function, bringing teams, processes and ways of working together while driving continuous improvement and trusted business partnerships.

  • Lead financial reporting, balance sheet governance and control effectiveness across the ANZ region.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, half-year and year-end financial reporting.
  • Build trusted partnerships across Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance and key business stakeholders.
  • Support the evolution of ANZ finance by standardising processes and ways of working.
  • Lead and support onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality finance outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls and data integrity.
  • Partner with leaders to identify risks, unlock opportunities and strengthen financial performance.

Who we're looking for

Equal parts strategic and hands-on, you'll bring the credibility, curiosity and leadership needed to strengthen controls, influence stakeholders and evolve ways of working across ANZ.

  • CA or CPA qualified with 8+ years' finance experience.
  • Experience in a complex corporate or shared services environment - FMCG experience is a plus.
  • Strong financial control, governance and reporting expertise.
  • Proven ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading offshore and/or outsourced finance teams.
  • Proactive, commercially minded and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Brings energy, credibility and a hands-on leadership style.
