Supply Network Planning Analyst - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

Naked Wines · 🇬🇧 Norwich, United Kingdom, United Kingdom

← All open positions

In a nutshell, we’re all about making great wine better, for everyone. We partner directly with the world’s best independent winemakers to bring our members better-quality wine for a better price. No thirsty middlemen as far as the eye can see.

It’s a different way of doing things, sure. But it works. We’re one of the UK’s favourite wine clubs, shipping over 1 million (!) cases a year to curious wine lovers. And with an ambitious road ahead, we’ve got no plans on plugging the cork on growth.

Our global team (we have offices in the US and Australia, too) is entrepreneurial by nature, obsessive about customer experience and driven by performance. All things that make Naked a great place to grow both personally and professionally. And yes, we like wine. A lot - we even have a wine fridge in the office.

It takes a village to run Naked. That’s why we’re always on the lookout for eager talent to join the bunch. And now, our Planning team is looking for a Supply Network Planning Analyst to be part of the fun.

As our Supply Network Planning Analyst, you will design, build, and maintain the decision-making tools that guide how stock moves through our supply network across two key markets, the US and AUS. Focused on execution, allocation, and systems optimisation, you will engineer spreadsheet models and GEM workflows to determine exact stock movements, optimise production timing and protect shelf-life viability. Serving as the primary collaborative bridge to our Commercial team in the US, you will provide clear visibility into stock availability, campaign readiness, and potential fulfilment risks.

So if you’re keen to help us connect more wine lovers with talented winemakers, there’s a Naked welcome pack with your name on it.

Together, we’ll take Naked Wines to the next level - and share our not-so-well-kept secret with the world.

What you'll do

  • Develop collaborative decision-support tools: Design and maintain systems (primarily in Google Sheets) to guide optimal inventory movements across our US and Australian markets, balancing network capacity with inventory policies.
  • Shape production timing: Build dynamic operational models that align factory output schedules perfectly with market arrival windows.
  • Evolve our ecosystem with AI: Create, test, and implement automated workflows and custom solutions (such as Google Gems and prompt frameworks) to streamline planning efficiency and eliminate manual tasks.
  • Build clear visibility models: Engineer dynamic spreadsheet models to project inventory levels, track stock aging, and mitigate shelf-life expiration risks.
  • Partner with our Commercial teams: Act as the primary operational liaison for the US Commercial team, delivering clear and timely updates on product availability for standard demand and special campaigns.
  • Guide risk management: Proactively identify potential network bottlenecks, delayed arrivals, or stockouts, and collaborate on mitigation options to keep operations flowing smoothly.
  • Ensure campaign readiness: Monitor stock allocation progress so the exact right inventory is positioned in the right place, at the right time, to support key sales and marketing initiatives.

What you'll bring

  • Advanced Google Sheets capability: A deep understanding of system architecture, complex formulas, and array functions to build robust operational tools.
  • AI & Automation mindset: Practical experience in building customized AI solutions, prompt chains, or workflows (like Google Gems or custom GPTs) to solve operational bottlenecks.
  • Operational system design skills: A strong background in building decision-making tools that translate logistical data into actionable insights.
  • Supply chain fluency: A solid understanding of production timing, logistics lead times, inventory aging logic, and shelf-life management.
  • Collaborative communication: The ability to translate complex inventory and technical data into clear, accessible updates for non-technical commercial stakeholders.
  • Relevant domain knowledge: Previous experience or a strong capability in Inventory Deployment, Capacity Limitations, Stock Allocation, Logistics, or Supply Network Planning.

Finally, you live by our Naked values: Our values shape how we do things
