A Tasting Room Reservationist role in Woodinville, WA is available at Chateau Ste. Michelle. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Tasting Room Reservationist sets the tone for the winery experience and creates a positive, genuine connection with every guest. Each day, you will help guests explore available options and book memorable in-person experiences for their special occasions.

This is a full-time, hourly position that is eligible for tips. This role will require evening and weekend availability. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with two days working remotely and three days on-site at our Woodinville office.

Tasting Room Reservationist job responsibilities include:

  • Respond to guest calls through the phone queue and email, providing accurate information about the company and winery experiences.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments in the ReServe platform to maintain an appropriate guest flow within the tasting room’s space limitations.
  • Provide accurate information about the wine club and mailing list and encourage guests to enroll.
  • Support management in enforcing winery policies related to guest use of the facility in a tactful, consistent, and professional manner.
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) registers and Reservation system to collect payments for winery experiences.
  • Assist Concierge team with entering new club applications during the busy season.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to occasionally walk throughout the office and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) or more years of customer service experience required (retail/hospitality preferred).
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Reservation and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills with the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation:

$19.45 - $25.27 per hour based upon relevant experience.
